Every year, I’m reminded of how powerful it is to capture genuine moments between people. 2024 marked another incredible year where I had the privilege of working with couples who trusted me to document their love and adventure. Whether it was exchanging vows in wide open spaces or sharing quiet, intimate moments away from the spotlight. That trust made all the difference, allowing me to capture their raw, unscripted moments that truly tell their story. It’s those authentic connections that continue to inspire me, year after year.
2024 also allowed me the opportunity to teach my ONEDAYWORKSHOP in Canmore, Paris, and Edinburgh with an incredible group of people. These workshops have become a meaningful part of my journey, bringing together photographers from around the world to share experiences, challenge perspectives, and grow. Teaching has a way of sparking new ideas and reminding me why I fell in love with this craft in the first place.
After 21 years of photographing weddings, I’m still drawn to the same things…the connection, the sense of adventure, and the trust couples give me to tell their stories. 2024 was filled with moments that pushed me creatively and reminded me why I love this work. I’m grateful for every story I’ve been part of and I can’t thank enough, every single one of my couples who allow me to do what I do.
